Achmelvich Beach, Scotland.

Achmelvich, situated 3 miles northwest of Lochinver and 40 miles north of Ullapool in northwest Scotland, is accessed by a single-track road. Achmelvich Bay offers excellent opportunities for spotting black- and red-throated divers, with occasional sightings of great-northern divers in winter.

The bay has also seen numerous sightings of porpoises, dolphins, and the occasional minke whale. With its stunning white sand beach, it's an ideal location for water sports and rock pool fishing.
