About

Worbarrow Bay is a picturesque bay located on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, England. It is known for its striking geological features, particularly the Worbarrow Tout, a prominent sea stack formed from the resistant Chaldon Down Greensand rock.

The bay's cliffs are composed of alternating layers of harder and softer rocks from the Cretaceous period, including the Gault Clay and Upper Greensand formations. This variation in rock resistance has led to the formation of distinctive coastal landforms through differential erosion.
