My current work...

 

I have been working on a new painting that is centred around

the theme of autumn. 

It was time to get back in the saddle. I had moved from living in a caravan to a cottage with enough space to have a studio again. It had been 3 years since I last was able to space and during that period I had had plenty of time to ruminate about what I would do the next time I had a canvas in front of me and a brush in my hand. Finally, it was 'Go Time'.

Recently life had put me through my paces and cerebral activity had been at an all time high. With the the experience of a second 'awakening', the end of a relationship and a number of other significantly weighty life challenges, I hoped to reflect (no pun intended) the mass of thought engaged and expended during this period.

It has also been an opportunity to continue to develop the framework of my work.
