The Hunt is on!

With a hope to encourage more people to spend more time outdoors, the Googly Eyes Hunt I hope will be a fun way to achieve this.

The idea is that at every campsite I visit, I stick a pair of Googly Eyes to an object (eg: a tree, pos, rock etc) under-which I leave a box that has a message and a discount code of 50% off any product from my store.

This idea will also help to drive more customers to campsite owners, who in many cases are farmers and who I could do with any extra support offered to helps to bring in additional income.

The campsites where the Googly Eyes have been situated are also sites that I would recommend, based on their location, individuality and general quality, so I hope that will be reassurance enough to pack your kit and head off for the weekend!

1. Isle of Sheppey, KENT.

'Clifftop Camping'

Most people head west for their camping trips, but if you head east and get past the south-bound M25, there's a great campsite called Clifftop Camping located on the Coast. With views across the North Sea, plenty of room and a back to basics approach, this site is well worth a visit.

CLUE: Past the gate where campers tread, A hedge path calls with leafy thread. Follow it true to the cliff’s proud face, Where a post keeps watch in a hidden place. With googly eyes and a silent grin, The code lies buried just beneath the skin.

2. WHERE NEXT...?

DESTINATION...?

The next time I head off camping, I'll post the campsite and clues here. Watch this space...
